Brett Ekes
Attorney
Attorney Brett Ekes focuses his practice on employer-side employment law, general corporate law and family law. Brett’s work in employment law focuses on providing day-to-day counseling and assistance to employers. He provides guidance and advice in negotiating employment contracts and non-competition agreements and in addressing disciplinary and employment separation issues. Brett also provides advice and guidance that helps businesses navigate employment issues that arise in regard to the various seemingly everchanging federal and state laws affecting employment relations.
Brett’s work in family law includes vigorously representing and counseling his clients in their divorce and post-divorce actions to ensure that his client’s receive the best possible outcome under extremely stressful, emotional, and what is often the most difficult time of his or her life. His family law work includes representing clients with regard to divorce; paternity matters; legal separation; prenuptial agreements; premarital agreements; child support issues; maintenance issues; child custody and visitation issues; and property division issues.
In his free time, Brett enjoys golfing, home brewing, attending sporting events, skiing and is a member and legal advisor of the Alpine Valley Ski Patrol.
